De Dakdokters has taken over the activities of Dakterras.nl. With this takeover, the Dakdokters strengthens its position in the rooftop market. Both companies are specialists in the construction of utility and green roofs. Dakterras.nl has been constructing roof terraces since 2004 and de Dakdokters is a specialist in sustainable roof solutions, specializing in roof gardens. By joining forces, a large organization is created that is even better able to respond to the wishes of the customer

Robert Pomstra, responsible for the day-to-day management at the Dakdokters: “Dakterras.nl has a lot of experience in the constructional aspect of private roofs in particular, which allows us to further accelerate our growth in that market. We are always short of hands, so I am very happy with the extra manpower and the experience that this acquisition provides. In addition, our customers are increasingly asking for larger roof structures and Dakterras.nl is a strong partner in this.”

Anticipating on further growth

Our green mission remains

The acquisition was completed on December 31, 2021 and the activities will be continued from the De Dakdokters head office in Amsterdam. De Dakdokters transform all flat roofs into a beautiful roof garden or green roof and make cities healthy and futureproof: that is our green mission.
